Annual Free Night Award worth up to 50,000 Points

Earn 1 Free Night Award valued at 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points upon renewal when you have spent between £5,000 - £9,500 in foreign currency in the previous 12 months.

If you have spent over £9,500 in foreign currency in the previous 12 months your Free Night Award upon renewal will increase by 25,000 to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

Who's eligible for a Marriott Bonvoy Debit Card?

Before signing up for a Marriott Bonvoy Debit Card plan, please make sure you meet following criteria:

Be aged 18 or over
Have a valid mobile phone number
Be suitable for a payment card that uses a Direct Debit*, and have no active CCJs** (County Court Judgements)
Have an active current account with one of the UK banks we support
Be registered for and have access to online or mobile banking

*Please note that as a Direct Debit based payment card, we have our own criteria that defines whether we think someone is "suitable for a payment card that uses a Direct Debit" which may be different to any other services that also uses Direct Debits for the purposes of collecting a monthly set amount from your account - e.g., household bills, credit card bills, etc.

**Please note that a CCJ may remain active on your credit report for up to 6 years, even if you have paid the money that was owed

Where does it work?

The great thing about your Marriott Bonvoy Debit Card plan is that it can be used at home and abroad (including e-commerce transactions). This means you can earn Marriott Bonvoy Points on day to day spend at home as well as on your travels!

When spending in a foreign currency, you receive the Realtime Exchange Rate.

How many Elite Night Credits can I earn?

The number of Elite Night Credits (ENCs) you can earn depends on your card type:

Marriott Bonvoy Debit Card: You receive 10 ENCs when your first Annual Fee is collected, and then 10 ENCs each year upon Subscription renewal.
Marriott Bonvoy Premium Debit Card:
- You receive 15 ENCs when your first Annual Fee is collected, and then 15 ENCs each year upon Subscription renewal.
- You can also earn an additional 1 ENC for every £4,000 in Valid Spend, with a maximum of 5 additional ENCs available.

Can I earn free nights?

Yes, you can earn a Free Night Award, but only with the Marriott Bonvoy Premium Debit Card as a renewal benefit.
To earn a Free Night Award, you must pay the Annual Membership Fee for the renewal and achieve a minimum level of Spend Abroad in the prior Card Anniversary Year.The Free Night Award redemption level depends on your annual Spend Abroad:

Spend Abroad between £5,000 and £9,500: You earn a Free Night Award with a redemption level up to 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points.
Spend Abroad £9,501 and above: You earn a Free Night Award with a redemption level up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points.

You can only earn one Free Night Award per Card Anniversary Year. Please allow up to 8-12 weeks after paying the Annual Fee and meeting the spending thresholds for the Free Night Award to be deposited into your Marriott Bonvoy Member Account. The award expires 12 months after issuance.
